Greetings!
We’re preparing to roll out a new interactive tool called Glean: Our History. The oH project is designed to make history accessible by expanding on the idea of a family tree. Instead of mapping only lineage, we map migration. The trends in migration, including the where, how far and how much, all become great questions and data for engaging the question of history (in a class-relevant way!).
We’re gathering educators and technologists to help test the tool, including to enter their own information, explore it with their children, and (generally) provide feedback about how it can be prepared for real use.
The time commitment is 1-2 hours, in total, over the course of the next month.
